The biggest news right now is that we now have an official game! We are meeting on Cosmic Muffin MUX, who has donated space for us to play as often as we like. We have weekly sessions every Sunday at 4 PM EST, but with the MUX setting, you can sign in and play anytime with other Roaring Twilight players!

If you are unfamiliar with MU*ing, please read the tutorial below. It's easy and you only have to learn it once!

If you are familiar with MU* gaming, just connect to:

TCP/IP Address:
Port: 2860

How to MU*!

First, you'll need a client. You can get MUSHclient free. Just click here and download it. It's free!

If you have a Macintosh, try Atlantis! You can click here and get it.

You'll need to create a new world file. The name will be Cosmic Muffin, and the TCP/IP and Port information are just as listed above. You can also change the font in other tabs, if you want.

Click the OK button and connect to Cosmic Muffin! There will be a welcome screen; just type the following and hit Enter:

connect guest guest

Then you'll be connected as a guest.

You'll be in a room by yourself. Type the following:

Just the letter O. Then hit enter.

Now type the following and hit enter:

The exit's name is Halls of Learning <HL>. The first part, Halls of Learning, tells you where the exit goes. The last part, <HL>, has what you need to type, between the < > signs to set it apart from the rest of the exit name.

Now go to the Getting Started room. Just type the exit alias and hit enter. Now read the room's description and follow the directions.

Soon you'll understand exactly how to play on a MUX!

If you have any questions or concerns, talk to someone else who is connected. Hushicho is the head staff member and can always help you if he's on.

If nobody's available, just email and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!

We meet every week for around 2-3 hours, and with the MUX available most of the time, players can connect and play anytime!

Roaring Twilight is available! We know everyone has different needs, so we've made the sourcebook available in two distinctly different formats: ring or spiral-bound, for convenience and ease of opening and setting on any surface, and digital format, for those of you who just don't have the space on your bookshelf for another big RPG book. The best part is, the digital format download is free, so you can give it a try before you buy!

We do ask that if you like it, you buy a hard copy and spread the word to your friends so we can keep working on more great modules and books for the Roaring Twilight setting! We're counting on you!

They're all affordable, they're all loads of fun, and the core sourcebook is all you need to get started in the world of Roaring Twilight! It won't take you long to get everything started...there aren't a lot of obscure stats to keep track of, they all make sense, and you and your friends will spend more time playing and having fun, not trying to puzzle out mysterious rules.

We've got loads of fun stuff coming up. We're hoping to put some modules together you can pick up, some books on the specific races, and even swanky loot like shirts! Be sure to spread the word...that'll help us more than anything else!
