I never had siblings, and my family moved around all the time when I was younger. Hawkye is the closest thing I have to a brother. When we first met, we weren't even sure if we got along. Now, years later, I can't imagine life without him, and I hope I never have to. He's the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He volunteers, he works tirelessly in his community, and he lives with a wonderful cat named Panther, whom he loves very much and who loves him back. He's a gamer and loves a good game. His MMO home is Dark Age of Camelot, but he's on Champions Online too, and a peerless adventurer on both. Unfortunately, work has not been stable with this economy, and while he was able to have some of his mouth operated on, he isn't able to afford to finish the job. This is a serious problem, since the longer he waits, the more possibility that the uncorrected matters may worsen or even spread. He's faced greedy dentist after greedy dentist, and he's been treated like dirt on a number of occasions by people who were supposedly dedicated to healing him. He's been denied treatment for the excruciating pain he endures 24 hours a day and told that unless he has the surgery, he'll just have to take aspirin. He would very much like to have the surgery, but he can't afford the exorbitant prices. However, he finally found a dentist who backed up his words and started on the operations. But unless Hawkye is able to afford the remainder of the operations, he will continue to live in crippling pain until the condition ends his life. Please help us make sure that won't happen.
